Jake has 4 years’ experience, one of 10 players to have 4 or more years.
Bracket Info: Jake was the #18 seed last year beating Seth Campbell before losing to Andrew Sitter in the second round. He is the #16 seed this year with hopes of making the sweet 16, the journey begins against Mitchell Gerlach.

Notes: Kevin was a huge part to the foundation and start-up of the league. He won the Championship in 2015, and made it to the Championship in 2014. He was a part of the Leroy Legends in 2016 Regionals and Tournament, and was one of the best fielders at the tournament. He took the 2017 season off before coming back for the 2018 season. After recently getting married he looks to get back into ownership in the 2019 season. Time will tell if he can regain his 2015 presence or if he got to far behind.
Bracket Info: Kevin went all the way to the sweet 16 last year beating Jon Newcomb and Neil Krooswyk as the #16 seed. This year he moves up one seed as the #15 seed and will take on Nathan Zuidema in the first round. They were teammates in the 2015 Championship Fantastic Four squad.

Notes: Marty burst into the scene late in 2016 and proved he wasn’t a fluke with an impressive 2017. In 2018 he led the Diamond Dusters to a 7th place finish even with struggles of having consistent lineups each week. He just missed out on an all pitching season yet again. He turned down the option of returning as an owner for 2019 with signs he could be #1 pick in the draft.
Hall of Fame Tourney History: Marty was a 19 seed last year and made some noise in the bracket. He defeated Ben Huff(#48) and then upset Co-Founder Kyle Reynhout(#14) in a shocking battle by one vote. He lost in the sweet 16 to Kyle Jansma (#3). He goes into this year’s bracket as the #13 seed facing off against Geoffrey Kozlowski.

Notes: Grant is one of the most polarizing players in Leroy. After owning a team in the first 4 seasons of the league (Muffin Men, Soup A Stars, One Hit Wonders, Big Unit Bashers) he chose to enter the draft. After a subpar start he was released and signed by multiple teams and at one point announced retiring from the league. He ended up returning and will once again be an owner in 2019 looking to change the reputation that haunted him in years passed. He has been a big fixture in the league and is one of 5 people to have gained a year of experience in each of the first 5 seasons. He welded our strike zones for the league last year and throughout all four years, especially in the early goings was a big part of the league with creative ideas to make the league better.
Hall of Fame Tourney History: Grant was a #13 seed last year and won the matchups he needed to. He defeated Brandon Swanson (#52) and Jeremiah Wiltjer (#20) on route to a sweet 16 loss against Jared Jonkman (#4). Grant will come in as a #12 seed this year facing off against Austin Williams in the opening round.

After a bust off a year he was released and sent to the Sultans. He was a part of the Nationals team this year that went to Morenci and was part of the infamous Room 2.

Robby has slowly played more games each year becoming more committed. He is one of the best two way players in the game and we still haven’t seen what he can do in a full season.
Bracket Info: Robby was the #11 seed last year beating both Quinn Cloghessy and Colin Lautenbach before losing to Erik Detmar. This year he enters as the #10 seed facing off against Kyle Gagliardi in round 1.

He is a shoe in for a first round pick, but is a huge gamble that could cost teams everything if something else takes priority.

The one thing holding him back is he has never even made it to a championship series in any of the 4 years he played. He and his wife welcomed their first child into the world a couple weeks after the 2017 season. Jansma never made an appearance in 2018 and signs show he may never make it back.
Bracket Info: The hottest topic of 2017 was the Elite 8 Match Up between Erik Detmar and Kyle Jansma. Kyle was the #3 seed last year beating Stan Sroczynski, Shane Anderson and Marty Rasala before destroying Erik Detmar in the Elite 8 vote. He lost to Brett Detmar in the final four which could be the farthest we ever see Kyle Jansma go after an early retirement. This year he will be the #7 seed and will take on Bo Hofstra in the opening round.

Sam has been the head of grounds committee the past 2 years and the go to guy for anything on game day. He recently purchased a vending machine and has some big upgrades in the making yet again for 2019. In the 4 years he has played, he has made the Championship twice, losing both times. He has been named Vice Commissioner for the 2019 season.
Hall of Fame Tourney History: Sam was the #9 seed last season knocking out Nick Jordan (#56) and Greg Gierling (#24) in easy fashion before going up against Matt Dykstra (#8). He lost by 4 votes and missed the Elite 8. This year he becomes the #5 seed with hopes of getting farther. He will take on Andrew Felde in the opening round.

Matt could have had have more awards if he didn’t pull a 76ers style tank the past few years to plummet his salary late in the year. Matt ran the social media for the whole 2017 season, produced a drone video of the Leroy Grounds, as well as ran the Leroy Clams to a 10th place finish #thatsclam. Some National highlights include Matt threw a shutout against BWACS in the 2017 NWLA Tournament for the Legends. He will be back in 2019 as an owner of the Scrappin’ Turtles. It wouldn’t be an article about Matt without talking about how his arm is gone, latest rumor has a double Tommy John in his future.
Hall of Fame Tournament History: Last year Matt knocked off James Haworth (#57), Alan Myszkowski (#25), and Sam Staal (#9) before losing to Caleb Jonkman (#1) in the Elite 8 last year. He was the #8 seed of the Bracket. This year Matt becomes the #4 seed with his eyes set on a Final Four run. He will take on Robert Warren in the opening round.

Bracket Info: Last year he was the #4 seed and held up to that seeding getting to the Final Four. He beat Wiz, Friedman, Grant, and Jon Gibson before losing to his brother. This year he becomes a #3 seed and will face Huisman in the opening round.

Erik was the 2nd best player in the league this year based on ranking and looks to become the face of the league through recruiting in 2019.
Bracket Info: Erik was the #6 seed in last year’s bracket losing in the Elite 8 to Kyle Jansma. He beat Alex Menn, Nick Fiene, and Robby Zandstra before the loss that fueled him in 2018. He goes into this year with the #2 seed in efforts to become the 2nd player inducted into the Hall.

Bracket Info: Brett was the #2 seed last year making it all the way to the finals. He beat Andy Turner, Wes Ellis, Andrew Sitter, Tim Wiltjer, and Kyle Jansma before losing to Caleb. He is the clear favorite to get inducted this year. He is the #1 seed heading into this year’s bracket and will match up against Lucas Oletti in the first round.
