Grant Reynhout

Pitching Stats – 0.501 Average, 12.48 ERA, 88 IP, 6-16 Record, 2-3 Saves, 91 k’s, 519 at bats.

Awards and Notes:  All Star – 1 (2015), Experience – 4 (2014-2017).  Grant has owned a team every single year, with a different name each year.  (Muffin Men, Soup A Stars, One Hit Wonders, Big Unit Bashers).  He welded our strike zones for the league this year and throughout all four years, especially in the early goings was a big part of the league with creative ideas to make the league better.

#5 (64.39) Jon Gibson vs. #12 (52.78) Jack Hillegonds

Jon Gibson

2016: #6 (49.51)

2015: #1 (59.41)

Pitching Stats – 0.314 Average, 4.78 ERA, 90 1/3 IP, 11-4 Record, 13-13 Saves, 141 k’s, 392 at bats.

Awards and Notes: Mr. Leroy – 1 (2015), Rookie of Year (2015), Most Improved – 2 ( 2015, 2017), Ironman Award – 1 (2015), All Leroy – 1 (2015), All Salary – 2 (2015, 2017), All Iron Team – 1 (2015), All Batting – 2 (2015, 2017), All Pitching – 2 (2015, 2017).  All Star – 2 (2015, 2017), Experience – 2 (2015, 2017).  Jon seems to only care about the league during odd years.  He was the #1 ranked player after the 2015 season and had a season that held records that many would never seen broken.  They were broken this season by Caleb, but in 2015 we only had 10 games, against last year’s 21 regular season games.

Jack Hillegonds

2016: #18 (38.16)

2015: #11 (38.20)

Pitching Stats – 0.355 Average, 4.88 ERA, 64 IP, 10-5 Record, 6-7 Saves, 99 k’s, 293 at bats.

Awards and Notes:  All Leroy – 1 (2015), All Salary – 2 (2015, 2017, All Batting – 2 (2015, 2017), Experience – 2 (2015, 2017), All Star – 2 (2015, 2017).  Jack had one of the best years we have ever seen in 2017 from the plate after an injury that caused him to miss a few weeks.  He looks poised to take 2018 on head first and solidify himself as a top tier player in Leroy.  He was a part of the Nationals team this year that went to Morenci and was part of the infamous Room 2.

#3 (71.50) Kyle Jansma vs. #19 (45.19) Marty Rasala

Batting Stats – 0.411 Average, 1.010 Slugging, 92 Homers, 174 RBI’s, 152 Runs, 141 k’s, 514 at bats.

Pitching Stats – 0.402 Average, 6.80 ERA, 114 2/3 IP, 12-9 Record, 10-10 Saves, 116 k’s, 555 at bats

Awards and Notes: All Leroy – 3 (2014, 2016, 2017), All Iron – 3 (2014-2016), All Salary – 1 (2017), All Batting – 3 (2015-2017), All Star – 4 (2014-2017), Experience – 4 (2014-2017).  Kyle Jansma added to his resume this year leading the Dutch Ovens to a #2 seed going into the playoffs.  He has been a consistent fixture in the league through its entirety.  The one thing holding him back is he has never even made it to a championship series in any of the 4 years he played.  He and his wife welcomed their first child into the world a couple weeks after the season.  We hope to see Zander make an appearance in Leroy in 2018!

Awards and Notes: Rookie of the Year (2017), All Salary – 1 (2017), All Batting – 1 (2017), All Star – 1 (2017), Experience – 1 (2017).  Marty burst into the scene late in 2016 and proved he wasn’t a fluke with an impressive 2017.  He takes on another challenge as he becomes the owner of an expansion franchise called the Diamond Dusters coming in 2018.

#6 (63.81) Erik Detmar vs. #11 (55.69) Robby Zandstra

Robby Zandstra

Batting Stats – 0.490 Average, 1.080 Slugging, 61 Homers, 128 RBI’s, 113 Runs, 83 k’s, 363 at bats.

Pitching Stats – 0.355 Average, 6.38 ERA, 73 1/3 IP, 11-10 Record, 8-9 Saves, 141 k’s, 341 at bats.

Awards and Notes: Champion – 2014, All Salary – 1 (2014), All Batting – 1 (2014), All Star – 4 (2014-2017), Experience – 2 (2014, 2017).  Robby owner the Sultans of Soy in 2016 and took the team to the Championship.  He looks to return to ownership in 2018 after taking a year off.  Robby has slowly played more games each year becoming more committed.  He is one of the best two way players in the game and we still haven’t seen what he can do in a full season.
